‘Sea Land Sky’ is an exciting exhibition of abstracted sea and landscapes - paintings exploding with colour and texture. - bringing vibrant art to the walls of Hampton Court's Fountain Gallery.
The works are a fusion of an energetic, exploratory, mixed media painting process with a very human emotional response to the beauty and power of the landscape. Beverley embraces mixed media, playing with textures and colour to create unique vistas in a diversity of materials including traditional artist materials - acrylic paint, inks and pastels with sands, beads and sawdust.
This collection of new work includes several paintings inspired by the magnificent headlands of the north east of Scotland, where the land has been carved by the surrounding sea - alongside sea and landscapes - the sea washing onto shore, vast landscapes of fields glowing with golden corn.
Beverley is excited to show the first four mono black and white canvases of a new series entitled ‘Layers of the Landscape’.
