In 1985, Hilary and husband John were captivated by the landscape of the Lot north of Toulouse and stayed. Hilary continued her interest in landscape ane interiors. Her long association with a printmaking studio in Toulouse shows her revisiting cave paintings and animals. Journeys to other destinations - particularly Venice and Collioure - inspired a series of works in mixed media.
