Atmospheric watercolours, vibrant acrylics and pastels inspired by changing moods of river, sea, land and sky with ceramics by Beryl Hole.
A Welcome Return of 3 inspiring artists: Andrew Blyth, Jill Storey and Beryl Hole.
Andrew’s subject matter is varied, but landscape, buildings and the elements, especially water, are his main inspirations. He believes that watercolour is a highly expressive medium, ideal for subtle compositions.
Many of Twickenham artist Jill Storey’s colourful, lively pastels, acrylics and watercolours have been inspired by foreign travel, but recently, her sketch book drawings have been done in local venues. The Thames and its riverside views hold a continual fascination, together with the Dorset coast.
Ceramicist Beryl Hole will be showing a range of work from functional pots, to more sculptural pieces.
