The magic of watercolour, the unpredictability of the paint. Landscapes, seascapes, buildings and “whatever catches my eye is my inspiration.”

This body of work is mostly from Clare’s recent visits to Cornwall where she spent a stormy 10 days walking the beaches and coastal paths and from local excursions walking the dog! 

Many paintings are 'plein air’ and the results of a couple of trips to Venice as well as the Isle of White and Surrey Hills areas all feature.
