Out of the Blue:  a celebration of the hand-made, the slow evolution of images and object.

We three artists are makers; and like the title of our show, we are bound together by colour and an aptitude for delight and discovery in our work.

Ann Marie's paintings are focussed on shape, and her attachment to the landscape of the south coast of England. Nigel’s colourful acrylics are often emotional responses to landscape or events. They do not need to be understood but ‘felt’, in a similar way that music is.

Elaine Coles uses her 40+ years of experience as a potter to create one-off and stunning abstract designs, both in her ceramics and jewellery.
