Sharon Withers
Sharon Withers is an accomplished artist celebrated for her striking large-scale abstract landscapes and triptych oil paintings. Her creations draw inspiration from the shapes and textures found in nature, exploring their symbolic meanings. Through her meticulous process of layering and building textural depth, Sharon's work reveals the residues of past disturbances, leaving behind a visual imprint that tells a story. After graduating from The Slade School of Fine Art in 1999, Sharon's talent quickly garnered recognition. She was selected as one of six finalists in The Gilchrist Fisher Award for Young Landscape Artists, which led to her work being showcased at the prestigious Rebecca Hossack Gallery in London. In 2011, Sharon founded No Naked Walls, an independent gallery in Surrey, where she curates exhibitions featuring her own work alongside that of other talented artists.
Sharon regularly exhibits at well-established art fairs, including the Affordable Art Fair and Fresh Art Fairs, where her work continues to captivate audiences. Her paintings are held in private collections and corporate establishments worldwide, from America to Europe.
